That'll Play

 

That'll Play is a photography book comprised of photos from a round of golf. I took full advantage of my employee benefits at Hazeltine National Golf Club on a brisk fall morning, September 11, 2020. In the days before, I had plotted out my last round played there of every shot I hit and where it was from, and then on that Friday morning before the first members teed off, I drove around and took photos of my golf ball in each of those spots that I had hit from a few weeks prior. Each page is one hole, laid out in the manner of which the hole is designed and the distance between each shot. The pen-ultimate page shows all 77 photos of my lies from that round, acting as a visual scorecard.
